Meet SUN’s Network Leads
The Role of Network Lead
Network Leads have several important responsibilities within the union, including:
- Communicating with Locals in their jurisdictions
- Regularly reporting to the SUN President and Board of Directors
- Attending local meetings, where possible
- Working in a leadership role with Locals to assist them with things like:
- member engagement opportunities;
- banking and financial issues;
- establishing work area representatives to support the work of the
local related to employment and practice issues; - updating membership information;
- Local election processes;
- Local Annual Meetings;
- guidance and support for locals related to bylaws;
- guidance and support for locals related to policies.
