This year, the theme of SUN’s Annual Meeting is Finding Our Way Back, in recognition of the fundamental, inner strength that drives both our organization and our membership. Registered nurses are an unstoppable force in healthcare and this year we’re focused on why we practice. We’re remembering the passion, the strength, and the joy of our practice, and fuelling our perseverance for the coming year.

Notice of Annual Meeting
As per bylaw 3.01, this is the official notice of the Annual Meeting for 2023, to be held April 26, 27 and 28. Please see below the draft agenda and a copy of the resolutions report.
Registration is Open
Registration is now open for SUN’s 49th Annual Meeting, taking place in Saskatoon at Prairieland Place from April 26 to 28, 2023. There is no option to attend virtually.

The registration fee is $100 per member, plus $35 to attend the Banquet and Dance. New this year, SUN has introduced a Cancellation Policy, which can be found on the CANCELLATION POLICY page of the event website.

DID YOU KNOW? Funding is available to attend the Annual Meeting and is defined in Member Policy 039-M-2017. Visit the FUNDING page to learn more about who is eligible for funding and how to apply.
Hotels
Members are responsible for booking their own hotel accommodations.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees will be in effect.
Cancellations received:
- On or before April 12, 2023, = full refund of registration fees.
- Between April 13, 2023 – April 25, 2023, = 75% refund of registration fees.
- On or after April 26, 2023, or No Shows = no refund will be issued.

COVID-19 Protocols
At this time, it has been determined there will be no COVID-19 protocols in place for the Annual Meeting.
Members are encouraged to make decisions based on their own personal comfort and safety.
SUN continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation in the province. To ensure the safety of our members, as well as the communities and individuals they care for, SUN reserves the right to implement health measures during in-person events hosted by SUN Provincial.
If required, all attendees will be notified in advance of the conference of any new health measures.
