SUN’s Labour Relations Officers (LROs) are experts in labour relations, workplace best practices and SUN’s collective agreements. Together they bring knowledge, expertise and experience and create a strong support system for Locals and their members.
The role of SUN’s LROs is to:
- Guide Locals handling nursing concerns and day-to-day functions of the Local;
- Support Locals in escalating member concerns when appropriate; and,
- Represent and protect the interests and rights of members, with the Employer, when appropriate.
